With the development of the society, English as acommunication tool is becoming more and more important. People attachimportance to English learning. In middle schools, English as an importantsubject aims at improving the English communicative ability of students. But,the communicative goals of English learning are not implemented completely. Thetraditional teaching mode of teacher-centeredness is used in present English classes;the teachers pay more attention to the English marks of the students in Englishexams but neglect to arrange communicative activities to develop the students’communicative ability. Therefore, the teachers and the students should changetheir roles in English classes. The teachers, as the designers of the Englishteaching, should widely use the communicative activities to make the classlively and interesting to improve the students’ communicative ability and Englishlevel.
