Some validgenerations have been made that the development of language learners might be influencedby various factors. On the whole, self-access language learning ability doesmore prominence in language learning process. Only when the learner has athirst to learn, can they make their learning successful. Autonomy is a preconditionfor effective learning. Learner autonomy is important because it encouragesevery learner to find his own way of learning and to be an effectivelearner.  However, autonomy is oftenmisunderstood by the teachers and the students, especially in the rural juniorschool. For example, it is often assumed that autonomy implies learning inisolation, learning without teacher, learning outside the classroom or learningwithout consideration on the background conditions.
