Abstract Accompanying theimplementation of the New English Curriculum Stands，there have been a lot of new problems arising in thefield of English teaching in the Primary schools, such as the lack of pupils’interest in English. Starting from the significances of games in children’sEnglish teaching，the thesis introduces some scholars’ illustrations of using games in theteaching process, and the importance of teaching games is further demonstrated.
