英语教师在英语教学中角色的扮演

摘要

我国外语教学的一项最重要的任务是了解教师在教学中所扮演的角色。毫无疑问教师在英语教学中是必不可少的一部分。并且在教学中他们扮演不同的角色,比如学习者,控制者,组织者,传授者,引导者,促进者,参加者,建议者和评价者。通过扮演好这些角色,教师能更好的帮助学生学习。可以使学习者的学习更方便、更快捷、更愉快、更自主、更有效;而且能帮助学习者通过组织、规划和评价来有效的引导自己的学习。本文主要是了解初一英语教师在英语教学中所扮演的角色。作者用了两种研究工具(课堂观察和采访)来分析教师在英语教学中所扮演的角色。 http://www.paper51.com

  Teaching is an art. Also English teaching embodies its art. English teachingis different from other teachings only because it is a language teaching whichis also a wildly used international communicative tool. English teaching is adiverse, complex art and a highly practical course. Recalling traditional teachers’roles, teachers don’t play main roles in the classroom. English teachers teachstudents by imparting knowledge and solving problems for them. They onlyperform as “conveyed belt”. Teachers are merely imparting knowledge forstudents so that students are far from their own real life. In fact, each ofthe learning contents has its prototype in life by themselves. Teachers mustguide the students to find prototypes, and use the knowledge to solve problemsin life. This is purpose of teaching.

One of the most important tasks ofForeign Language Teaching in our country is to study what roles of foreignlanguage teacher(s) play in the classroom. Without a doubt, teachers playindispensable parts in English education industry, because they will instruct youngmen by teaching them some skills. However, with the development of Englishteaching, the teachers have to realize that it is not enough to teach studentsby using traditional teaching methods, because the teachers’ purposes aremainly to train students with skills so that they can learn ways of study bythemselves in future. The aim of this study is to investigate what roles middleschool teachers play in English Teaching.
